God will save Israel and God will save America. We will not escape war, famine, or shortages, or essential medicines, and essential energy. Nonetheless, God will save America and the next great move of God will probably not be on Azusa Street in California or at the ORU campus in Oklahoma. Honor your mother…while you can
At Mom’s graveside funeral service, an older couple approached to introduce themselves. They wanted us to know their story of desperation during the Great Depression. Mom took them into her home, fed them and gave them clothing. The couple stayed in Mom’s home for over six months before the man found work enough to support his young wife. He said to me, “Not once in all that time did she ask when I was going to go to work.” Her generosity sustained a destitute young couple through the most difficult time in U.S. history.
