Biden’s Build Back Better Boondoggle

What is a boondoggle? One dictionary says it is work of no real value done to look busy, esp. a government project.

I enjoy the Townhall Magazine humor and am a “fossil fuel” denier. Why is natural gas called natural, but natural oil is called a fossil fuel? Wait for it: All minerals, from H2O to CH4, to NaCl, are products of the earth’s upper mantle.

In the years of my public education in Palacios, Texas, I was taught oil and gas are derived from dead plants and animals. My third-grade textbook said the world would run out of oil within 20 years. 66 years later, where are we now?

Credible estimates of petroleum reserves under Texas and New Mexico range from 200 to 500 years, sufficient to fuel the entire world.

I lied about my age to work on offshore drilling rigs along the Texas Gulf Coast. The wells on which I worked ranged from 6,000 feet TVD to 16,500 feet TVD. After drilling with diamond bits through rock for a few weeks before hitting oil below 16,000 feet, I came to realize those early projections were unrealistic.

At the time I worked on offshore rigs, I learned of one depleted well off the coast of Louisiana that was discovered to be replenishing itself.

A 2005 story reveals “it is now clear that gas and oil are coming into the known reservoirs very rapidly in terms of geologic time. The inflow of new gas, and some oil, has been detectable in as little as three to 10 years…”

Addressing other minerals, sodium chloride, for example. The Morton salt mine in Grand Saline has enough salt “to supply the world’s population for 20,000 years.”

The report of another mineral produced deep in the earth, calcium silicate perovskite (CaSiO3) embedded in a diamond. The most renowned geologist today would never suggest that dead plants and animals produce diamonds. This is another example of the amazing mineral factory deep within the earth.

Another common mineral that supports all life on earth is water. Genesis 7:11 reveals that “all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened”. Rain from above and fountains of water from below flooded the earth.

Fearmongers foretell doom, saying all the freshwater aquifers are going dry. No, we are uncovering more enormous aquifers right here in Texas and all over the world.

News Story | Huge New Deep-Seated Water Aquifer Discovered in Texas
“Last fall, while exploring for oil and gas deposits in southwest Texas, a driller instead found a huge freshwater deep aquifer. Now called the Maverick Basin Aquifer, it is known to be at least 3,000 square miles in area and averages 1,000 feet thick in most places. This is another of the increasing number of deep freshwater sources being discovered across the planet.”

Either God is a liar, or He is who and what He says he is. I believe God is precisely who He says He is.
