At the end of November 2020, Retail gasoline prices averaged $2.120/gallon. Diesel prices averaged $2.502/gallon. Today, October 28, 2022, the average price of a gallon of gasoline is $3.76, and the average price of a gallon of Diesel is $5.31.
I recently filled my 1995 E300 Mercedes-Benz, two gallons shy of empty. The tank, when empty, holds 23.8 gallons. The pump registered $115.00. This compares to what I would have paid if a brilliant businessman was our president: $46.54.
Due to the incompetence of this sitting president and the left-wing activists on his staff, Diesel today is 2.5 times what it was two years ago.
The “Big Guy” imagines he can speed the development of electric vehicles, electric trains, electric airplanes, and so on by curtailing the availability of petroleum products. His method appears to be a scheme to kill the petroleum industry in the United States and return us to the disastrous 1970s when our nation was begging for oil from the OPEC nations; none of them are friends of our country.
What do we hear from today’s news sources? All major news sources report on the dire shortage of Diesel fuel. If a reasonable report by Yahoo Newson October 19, 2022, within 16 days from today, our nation will run out of Diesel that powers school busses, automobiles, trains, ships, construction machinery, emergency generators, U.S. military vehicles, and more.
Other news sources also warn us of the dire fuel shortages, including Bloomberg, Fox News, and Newsweek. Heating oil will also be in short supply this winter, warn Fox Business, Bloomberg, Fortune, and Breitbart.
The idolatrous leftists strive to curtail life-giving carbon from our atmosphere to protect us from global warming, a phenomenon that stalled several years ago. All Americans should know that more people die from the effects of cold weather than the effects of hot weather.
The ‘Big Guy’ sells our oil reserves to our number one enemy: communist China. Beginning in May of this year, he also began selling off Diesel reserves. His strategy is to hold down fuel prices until after the November 2022 general elections.
I voted straight Republican on my ballot that was cast yesterday, the first day of early voting. The first time for me to vote Republican was 1980 when this former Democrat realized the party of Jimmy Carter was working against the interests of the American people. The ‘Big Guy’ in the White House follows Jimmy Carter’s and Barack Obama’s failed leftist policies.
