WHY THE EXPLOSIVE GROWTH IN HOMESCHOOL EDUCATION?

The Democratic Socialists Strive to Control Public Education from Pre-K through College. Why?

Why do public educators want to force young children, the least susceptible to infection by the Communist Chinese virus, to wear masks?

“Indoctrination happens through many channels—entertainment, speeches, and censorship––but its main instrument is the school system. Teachers have a captive audience of malleable young minds for several years. They may not have figured out how to make students smart and productive, but they can at least make them submissive and obedient.” — Auguste Meyrat, English teacher in the Dallas area

“Education must enable one to sift and weigh evidence, to discern the true from the false, the real from the unreal, and the facts from the fiction.” — Martin Luther King, Jr., essay titled: The Purpose of Education

“There were about 3.7 million homeschool students in 2020-2021 in grades K-12 in the United States (roughly 6% to 7% of school-age children). There were about 2.5 million homeschool students in spring 2019 (or 3% to 4% of school-age children) [note 1]. The homeschool population had been growing at an estimated 2% to 8% per annum over the past several years, but it grew drastically from 2019-2020 to 2020-2021.” — National Home Education Research Institute, September 9, 2021

A significant but seldom mentioned benefit from homeschooling is the intellectual enhancement of the parents. I often say, “Before you can teach a dog tricks, you must know more than the dog.”

Two of my grandchildren are 100% homeschooled. They are deep thinkers, eloquent speakers, and intellectually curious.

Do you know 15 of our U.S. Presidents were homeschooled, including those 4 featured on Mount Rushmore?

Socialistic indoctrination of students happens when government controls the curriculum. Intellectual development of students happens when parents control the curriculum.
