ACLU’s Mission Statement Contradicts God’s Mission Statements

From The Dallas Express, July 14, 2023, I quote: “The American Civil Liberties Union is suing the State of Texas in an attempt to stop its upcoming ban on sex alteration surgeries and transgender hormones for minors.

SB 14, signed by Gov. Greg Abbott in June, would largely prevent children under the age of 18 from undergoing surgery or being administered drugs based on reasons related to sex or gender, as reported by The Dallas Express.

The ACLU announced on July 13 that it was “suing Texas over their ban on gender-affirming care for transgender youth…Our clients are families and medical providers who will be irreparably harmed if this ban goes into effect — and many of them are already considering relocating,” the left-wing activist group tweeted.” Unquote

The obvious misunderstanding on the part of the ACLU is the meaning of words. Chopping off the breasts of young teenage girls and physically altering a child’s genitals, male or female, is by no means ‘gender-affirming care.’ My point of view is such chemical and surgical alterations are child abuses and mutilations.

Senate Bill 14 (SB 14) is true gender-affirming care.

As the SD-2 member of the 2022 Texas State GOP Platform Committee, I listened to heartbreaking testimonies by adult victims of irreversible transgender surgeries that scarred them forever. All the planks of the Republican Platform were proposed by 2022 Republican voters who voted in the 2022 Primary Election. This is to underscore the fact of the grassroots processes, as per Texas State Republican Party Rule No. 33.b.3. The Platform Committee does not create the planks. We, the People, create them.

The Age of Majority in the State of Texas is 18 years. Minor children, those under the Age of Majority, live under the authority of their parents or a guardian of majority age. All residents of the State of Texas live and act within the boundaries of the Rule of Law as promulgated by the Constitution and the Laws of the State of Texas.

Can a parent or legal guardian who wishes to put a minor child through the horror of genital mutilation move to another state? Yes, as per the U.S. Constitution, Article I, Section 8 [the enumerated powers of the federal government], and Article VI [the definition of the Supreme Law of the Land], the federal government, including federal courts, holds no authority over surgeries or medical treatments or medical mistreatments. The U.S. Constitution does not prohibit the States from exercising authority over such matters, as per Amendment X; therefore, this is a State authority.

Therefore, Senate Bill 14 (SB 14) is the Law of the Land within the boundaries of the State of Texas.

Abortions and transgender surgeries have become big business. I suggest the lawsuit is funded by persons and/or organizations who stand to forfeit profits. A famous line in a movie is also wise advice: “Follow the money.” As you probably suspect, yes, following the money, one trail ends at your neighborhood Planned Parenthood clinic.

The ACLU states, “The ACLU dares to create a more perfect union — beyond one person, party, or side. Our mission is to realize this promise of the United States Constitution for all and expand the reach of its guarantees.” I appreciate this mission statement.

The undergirding principle of our federal and state governments is stated in the Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

What is the definition of life? What must happen to ensure the propagation of our species? A dictionary defines life as the general condition, quality, or force that separates organisms from objects and from dead organisms, and that shows itself in the ability of organisms to grow, reproduce, and change in response to the environment.

Life is the premier natural right of all mankind. Life is the first right noted in the Declaration of Independence. Our country is the number one destination of oppressed people throughout the Earth.

The ACLU and I share many values in common. My own worldview is Christian, as were the worldviews of our Founding Fathers. The Christian worldview encompasses the sum of Biblical text, in word and in deed.

God commanded Noah and his sons, “… be fruitful and multiply; increase abundantly in the earth and multiply in it.” In context, multiply means to procreate, to have children — lots of children, and to continually increase the population of the Earth. Mutilating reproductive organs is in opposition to God’s commandment.

For the record, a person’s gender cannot be altered.
