“The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.”
Joe Biden and his handlers wish to convert our country from a nation of sovereign states to a nation-state. The two-fold progressive strategy is to empower illegal aliens to vote and to take control of all voting centers across the United States of America.
Communist North Korea, communist Cuba, and communist China are examples of nation-states.
What are the legitimate powers of the federal government? Look to the US Constitution for answers.
The Enumerated Powers
Article. I, Section. 8. The Enumerated Powers, 18 clauses define the limits of the powers of the federal government.
Article. VI., the 2nd clause, defines the Supreme Law of the Land.
“This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.”
Any Act of Congress, Executive Order, Treaty, or Federal Court opinion that is not in Pursuance thereof the US Constitution is unlawful.
Amendment X differentiates the extent of federal and state authority.
“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.“
Our form of government is not a democracy, but a republic, as per Article. IV, Section. 4.
“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.“
The word republic derives from the Latin res publica, ‘the people’s thing.’ The first instance of the republican form of government was neither Greece nor Rome. The first instance of republican government was recorded in the Bible, Exodus 18:21-23 CJB, around 1313 BC.
Although Joe Biden regularly describes our form of government as a democracy, this word is not found in any of our founding documents, including the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Democracy is mentioned in Federalist No. 10 in Madison’s argument against democracy.
I concur with Martin Luther King, Jr. We are not obligated to obey unjust laws and unjust bureaucratic rules.
