Palestinian Authority no longer qualified to govern as Muslim persecution threatens the existence of the oldest Christian community in the world

Middle East History In Toto

Judaism, from which Christianity came into being, has an ancient patent on Israel. According to the History website, “Judaism is the world’s oldest monotheistic religion, dating back nearly 4,000 years. Followers of Judaism believe in one God who revealed himself through ancient prophets…”.

Christianity of which were the first disciples of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus the Christ) were Jews, can be dated to between 26 and 31 AD. Many historians believe Jesus was born between 2 and 7 BC. Regardless of the precise date of the moment of the birth of the Messiah, Christianity, the largest religion in the history of the world, has been in existence at least 2,270 years.

Islam, the faith of Muslims, arose around 610 years after Christianity was well established throughout the Middle East and much of the African continent hundreds of years before Islam arose.

Headline, 29 Dec 2022 | Persecuted into extinction: The fate of Christianity in Bethlehem

The Palestinian Authority (PA) has the responsibility to maintain peace in Bethlehem, but either it is unable or unwilling to protect the Christian population. When a government fails or refuses to protect its citizens, a government abdicates its authority.

Therefore, it is time for Israeli authority over the west bank of the Jordan River.
