An Abbreviated History of the Bill of Rights: Why do Democrats want to disarm all but the government?

The residents of the Thirteen Colonies were British citizens entitled to the protection of the laws of Great Britain. King George apparently did not receive or else ignored the memo on this point of law.

In Congress on July 4, 1776, representatives of the thirteen colonies unanimously agreed to separate from Great Britain. The document was written by Thomas Jefferson and signed by all the delegates. The intended recipient was King George III. Read the entire manuscript here.

Skipping the first two paragraphs, read through “let Facts be submitted to a candid world.” As you read, keep in mind thoughts on Open Borders (obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners); Heavily Armed ATF, IRS, and HSA officers (sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance); Military Forces prepared to act against citizens (the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power); Leftist mobs not prosecuted for destroying government and private property (He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us); Corrupted Elections (to cause others to be elected).

The government of Great Britain, acting under the leadership of King George III, became the enemy of the citizens. The federal government, the Deep State, has become, in large part, an enemy of the people. Implementing the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) will render our citizens powerless to check the abuses of the federal government.

Do you not recognize how the federal government, except for a courageous few patriotic whistleblowers, now views patriotic Americans as the enemy?

Government agents now spy on church congregations. I quote the ACLJ: “The Biden FBI has been exposed for planting undercover agents inside churches to spy on believers…”

Pro-life Christian ‘Rescuers’ were arrested for a peaceful protest at an abortion facility. 73-year-old Chester Gallagher was arrested and charged with violating the federal Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act for organizing and participating in a peaceful protest at a Mount Juliet, Tennessee, abortion facility. Review these stories in the Daily Citizen article: More FBI Raids – 11 Pro-Life ‘Rescuers’ Arrested for Peaceful Protest at Abortion Facility 18 Months Ago

After the National School Board Association (NSBA) suggested school boards might be facing domestic terrorism, the Department of Justice (DOJ decided to investigate potential acts of violence against school boards country-wide. Fox News: Parents respond to DOJ, school boards’ statements: ‘I am what a domestic terrorist looks like?’

Our Founding Fathers added the Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments, to protect American citizens from a rogue government. Learn the history of the Bill of Rights via this link to the federal archives and the History website: Bill of Rights.

The First Amendment was added to empower citizens to publicly address real or perceived government abuses. This amendment also protects news reporters, columnists, bloggers, and others who post critical observations of governmental abuses and misdeeds with impunity.

I quote from Taki’s Magazine: Government-Backed Censors Confuse ‘Disinformation’ With Mainstream Opinions

Veronique de Rugy writes, “Disinformation, misinformation and fake news are real problems in a world that is now mainly online. However, this shouldn’t blind us to the very real risk that comes from a government that aggressively polices information or becomes an arbitrator of the truth. It’s simply too easy to use this power to silence political opponents or people who hold unpopular opinions. Caution on this front is more, not less, important now that America is so politically polarized.

The Second Amendment was incorporated to protect citizens from a rogue government. This amendment explicitly denies federal authority over the individual right to keep and bear arms, ruled as an individual right in District of Columbia v. Heller, 2008.

I asked the question, “Why do Democrats want to disarm all but the government?” When did you hear a Democrat describe our form of government as a republic? Never? I only hear Democrats call our form of government a democracy. The words democrat, democratic, and democracy are not found in any of our governing documents. Joe Biden, the top Democrat, says our form of government is a democracy. Biden describes conservatives as “a threat to democracy.”

I confess. I am a threat to democracy. Come and get me, Joe.

Our form of government is a republic, as specified by Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution. The major differences between the two forms of government are:

So, what’s the cure?

The cure is actually very simple if you value individual freedoms. PARTICIPATION.

The body of unbelievers, lawless citizens, mass hysteria, and gross ignorance of our history, our laws, and our God are the bad seed that grows socialists. Democrats favor socialism.

It is imperative that freedom-loving citizens learn the basics of our history, our Constitution, and the Christian faith before attempting to teach other people. I learned long ago that to teach a dog tricks, you must know more than the dog. Choose to learn about the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Become acquainted with each of your elected representatives. Seek like-minded people through a local church. Pray for all in positions of authority.

Therefore I exhort first of all that you make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for everyone, for kings and for all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and honesty, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all. This was the testimony given at the proper time. — 1 Timothy 2:1-6 MEV
