A Pathway to citizenship or a pathway to hell?

Joe Biden says he wants a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens. I do not call them undocumented.

Why? He expects to earn the loyalty of hapless, ignorant illegal aliens that are destined to be Democratic Party voters.

U.S. citizenship is a privilege reserved for two classes of persons: native-born in the U.S. and legal immigrants who follow due process of law.

The process is simple. Enter the U.S. with permission of the federal government, establish residency, learn our history and our form of government.

By law, new citizens must be lawful permanent residents (LPR). By law, anyone who illegally enters the United States of America can never become a lawful permanent resident.

Democrats in Washington, D.C. strive to use their narrow majority in Congress to rewrite immigration laws.

What can go wrong?

The flood of illegal aliens from 75 countries to whom Joe Biden has opened our southern border bring with them paradigms of governance foreign to U.S. jurisprudence.

Shall we become another corrupt banana republic, a dictatorship, or a socialist experiment doomed to failure?

Apart from proper and legal assimilation of immigrants, our beloved country cannot survive as the most unique form of government in all human history, a republican government in which the power of government rests in the hands of the citizens.
