Incitement to Violence

Headline: Todd Starnes March 20, 2025 – Rep. Jasmine Crockett ( TX CD-30) Calls for Violence Against Elon Musk

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is facing national outrage after she called for violence against Elon Musk.

“All I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down – yes,” the Texas Democrat said on a video posted on social media. This woman is literally calling for violent terrorism against an American citizen.

Crockett was part of a call to action for organizers of a nationwide demonstration on March 29 at all 277 Tesla showrooms to protest Musk’s efforts to root out corruption, money laundering and grift within the federal government. March 29th is also the congresswoman’s birthday.

She has waged a profane and ugly campaign against Musk. In one video she uttered a four-letter [expletive] when asked what she would say to the world’s richest man.

In recent weeks Tesla dealerships have been firebombed, cars have been shot up and individual Tesla owners have been doxxed. President Trump called the rage against Musk and Tesla nothing short of domestic terrorism.

Observations

  1. Elon Musk is not a federal employee. He is an adviser to the President.
  2. Only the affected federal agencies can cut spending and reduce manpower.
  3. Elon Musk is working for free to help the President prevent an economic collapse of our economy. The federal budget compares to a family’s budget. When spending exceeds income and indebtedness consumes income, bankruptcy is the natural consequence.
  4. Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett demonstrates visceral hatred toward a president who enjoys the highest regard of Americans across the board.
  5. Crockett has all the above information readily available, but her public statements underscore her profound ignorance of the facts.

  1. You said that Crockett said, “’All I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down …” … This woman is literally calling for violent terrorism against an American citizen.'” You appear to not understand the definition of the word “literally.” She literally called for “Elon to be taken down,” not violently taken down and she certainly did not “literally” commit terrorism. She did nothing more than say that he be “taken down.” You radically changed what she said to something she did not say, and you did that literally.

Look it up. That’s what good writers do.

    1. Thank you for reading this post and thank you for your comment.

The term “take someone down” means “to defeat or kill someone, or to stop someone from causing harm.” Reference: Cambridge Dictionary https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/take-down

Some of the synonyms are annihilate, be gunning for someone, be gunning for someone, and slaughter.

I am conversant in multiple languages, including American English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Latin.

My choice of terms and words is intentionally clear to understand. When I use words not ordinarily in street parlance, you will find a hyperlink to such words.

Ms. Crockett’s use of the indigenous American vernacular clearly means she wants him dead. It’s street talk, not eloquence.

I will edit my post with a link to the Cambridge Dictionary to ease your discomfort.

      I precisely quoted her, Darhlene.

Incitement to violence by a public official licenses, motivates some people to act. The unlawful firebombing of Tesla cars and dealerships, along with “keying” privately owned Tesla vehicles are resulting in criminal charges to the perpetrators of those crimes. In our modern world of cameras everywhere, arresting and prosecuting criminals has never been easier for our law enforcement agencies.

      1. Yes, you quote Crockett but not “precisely.” You were wrong. You twisted her meaning, which did not incite violence as evidenced by the lack of violence incited by her statement. Face it, John White, you are using MAGA logic, like twisting words, to make them seem that they mean something evil and fascist, which is apparently is a MAGA thing to do to progressive leaders. You are little more than another MAGA bigot.
