Subject: Central Bank Digital Currency
Pat,
Joe Biden’s Executive Order 14067 will have only one benefit: the cost of printing bills and coins will drop to zero dollars.
Total federal control of our finances, what little will remain after the next Depression, is a certainty, just as it is in Communist China.
Our people must realize digital money only works via a digital means, the ubiquitous and often unavailable internet.
To date, my credit cards have been “hacked” and my digital identity compromised by criminal hackers and government spies.
Not even once has a hacker stolen greenbacks from my wallet. Not even ONE time.
China’s cost to print the Yuan is now zero. The chances of Chinese citizens spending money on services and products deemed “counter-revolutionary” have risen to 100%.
I refer you to a 2021 Financial Times news story titled Virtual Control: the agenda behind China’s new digital currency. I quote from this news story:

“Such philanthropy conceals a harder-hitting agenda. By handing out the traditional red packets in the form of “digital renminbi”, China’s authorities are conducting trials for a crucial new technology that could lead the world’s adoption of digital currencies and set global technical standards.”
Naturally, our sitting president and his communist Vice President eagerly embrace the adoption of federal digital currencies and global standards.
The objective of digital currencies is not governmental efficiencies or to secure the natural rights of citizens. On the contrary, a federal digital currency serves only to enslave our population, thereby limiting our freedoms.
Article I, Section 8, the third clause of the Enumerated Powers of Congress, stipulates “The Congress shall have Power … To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures.”
The radical Joe Biden administration intends to coin digital money. This is a power reserved to the Congres. Therefore, the Biden administration seeks to bypass Congress to take control over all Americans, regardless of political party affiliation.
Therefore, the Biden administration violates the Constitutional boundaries as it encroaches on your constitutional authority.
The recent reversal of the 1984 Chevron decision by the U.S. Supreme Court agrees with me. The Biden administration is prohibited from effectively creating new laws by incorrectly interpreting existing laws.

Continuing resolutions and unconstitutional compromises threaten the survival of the United States of America.
I wish to point out that the State of Texas has the constitutional authority to create our own gold-based and silver-based money, as per Article I, Section 10. The Comptroller already operates a bullion depository in Leander, Texas.
