The Root Cause of Middle East Wars

Abbreviated History of Israel

  1. Circa 2100 B.C — Abram was born the son of Terah.
  2. Circa 2085 B.C. — God promised Abram he would have many descendants.
  3. Circa 2080 B.C. — Ismael was born by Abram’s servant Hagar.
  4. Circa 2081 B.C. — God made a covenant with Abram; God clearly declared Ishmael would not be Abram’s heir, but a child “that is from your own body will be your heir,” an inference to a child yet to be born of a union of Abraham and his wife, Sarah.
  5. Circa 2067 B.C. — God foretells the birth of Isaac.
  6. Circa 2067 B.C.Abraham settles in Gerar, Gaza, with the full permission of Abimelek.
  7. Circa 2066 B.C. — Isaac was born to Abraham and Sarah. Sarah orders her servant Hagar and the child Ishmael banished from her family. Abraham was upset over the banishment of his son Ishmael, and God revealed to Abraham, saying, “Do not be upset concerning the boy and your slave wife. Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to what she says, for in Isaac your descendants will be called. Yet I will also make a nation of the son [Ishmael] of the slave woman, because he is your offspring.” God recognized both Ishmael and Isaac as the offspring of Abraham but only Isaac as his heir. God declared to Abraham that He would make Ishmael’s descendants a great nation.
  8. Circa 2054 B.C. — God tests Abraham by commanding him to sacrifice his son Isaac.
  9. Circa 1991 B.C. — The death of Abraham and the precursor to the Abrahamic Accords, as Isaac and Ishmael peacefully reunite to bury their father.
  10. Circa 5 B.C. — The Birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem
  11. Circa 30 A.D. — Jesus Christ was crucified, resurrected, commissioned his disciples, and ascended to Heaven.

Abbreviated History of Arabian Christianity

Circa 30 A.D. — On the Day of Pentecost, thousands of Jews were baptized by the Holy Spirit. The enormous crowd included Jews by birth and Jewish proselytes of many nations. The last-named people on the list of nations were the Arabs.

“Before the emergence of Islam in the early seventh century, Arabia was home to a different monotheistic faith. Centuries before Muhammad, some ancient Arabian tribes seem to have adopted Christianity. While the arrival of Christianity in Arabia has been known through literary sources written by outsiders, such as the famous Bible scholar and translator St. Jerome, recent discoveries present evidence of Christianity from pre-Islamic Arabia itself. The vast swaths of desert east of the Jordan River reveal thousands of ancient inscriptions, some of which bear crosses and use Christian terminology.” — Biblical Archaeology Society: The Earliest Evidence of Christianity in Arabia, posted, July 25, 2023 A.D.

Abbreviated History of Islam

  1. Circa 570A.D. — The birth of Muhammad in Mecca, Saudi Arabia
  2. Circa 610 A.D. — Muhammad claimed a vision of the Angel Gabriel. This vision marks the genesis of the Muslim religion, one of the three Abrahamic monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
  3. 8 June 632 A.D. — The death of Muhammad.
  4. Circa 650 A.D. — The Caliph Uthman, who himself had been a close associate of the Prophet, had a committee establish an official version of the Koran based on the existing copies of the scripture and the knowledge of experts.
  5. Circa 681 A.D. — The minority Shi’a faction began a split from the Sunni majority faction of Islam.
  6. 26 March 1979 A.D. — Historic Egypt-Israel peace treaty
  7. 19 September 1996 A.D. — Historic Jordan-Israel peace treaty
  8. 15 September 2020 A.D. — The Abraham Accords Declaration was signed into effect by President Donald Trump; “based on mutual understanding and coexistence, as well as respect for human dignity and freedom, including religious freedom.”
  9. 7 October 2023 A.D. — Hamas viciously attacked Israel, slaughtering hundreds of civilians, beheading babies, and raping women hostages.
  10. 21 October 2023 A.D. — Saudi TV host rips into top Hamas leader during interview: ‘The people of Gaza were not consulted about this’ | “We [Arabs] are watching the great human tragedy that is unfolding in the Gaza Strip. The people of Gaza woke up to this. The other factions, the Palestinian Authority, and the people of Gaza were not consulted about this. You made the decision all by yourselves.” … “…but what the people in the West have seen on their TV screens, was transgressions by Hamas against Israeli civilians. You are responsible for Hamas’s image abroad. Hamas is now being compared to ISIS.”

The Root of the Conflict

Islamic Totaitarianism vs. Christian Western Civilization | The Abrahamic birthright is the point of contention.

Over the years the Persians lived under a Shah, the Iranian citizens adopted western dress and customs. The Islamic ‘revolution’ in 1979 reenslaved the Persian people to harsh Islamic rule.

The Quran licenses Muslims to lie, murder Jews and Christians mercilessly, and to subjugate populations. The Quran revises settled middle eastern history by naming Ishmael as the son Abraham was directed by God to sacrifice, contrary to the historical record of Genesis 22, circa 2054 B.C., 4,077 years ago.

The birthrite of God’s chosen people is the issue. The destruction of Jews and Christians would satisfy the bloodlust of the Muhammad and his descendants, allowing Islamist to uphold the false history of Ishamel as God’s chosen one.

Knowing the End from the Beginning

Bible scholars and teachers speak of the last days, how there will be wars and rumors of wars, an apocoliptic season ahead of us. Instead of venturing into the subject of the last days, this post serves to distill historical facts down to a simple point: the life and death conflict between the Judeo-Christian biblical worldview and the Islamist worldview.

Consider the difference between God and Satan.

1 John 4:8 says, Anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. God’s love is agapé (Greek), diligit (Latin); Strong’s Greek no. 26: affection, benevlonce, charity, love-feast.

What is Satan? In he is the enemy of Israel [1 Chronicles 21:1]; in Zechariah 3:1, Satan is the accuser; In Matthew 16:23, he is “not mindful of the things that are of God, but those that are of men.” Mark 1:13 describes him as a tempter, a deceiver in Acts 5:3, and a fraud in 2 Corinthians 11:14. Satan is a thief who steals, kills, and destroys in John 10:10.

Hadith 139 — Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. “O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.”

Muslims view the Quran as the words of Allah. The Hadiths are words spoken by Muhammad.

Natural Love is love shaped by God. Muslims generally love their spouses and their children. Agapé love is God’s kind of love and He is nature’s God. Arabs were Jewish prosolytes and Christians centuries before the advent of Islam. You can understand the conflicts in their souls.

The ruthless brutality of Hizbollah, Isis, Hamas, and the Taliban arises from the Quran’s edicts to senselessly murder Jews. At this point, realize that Christianity is not a separate religion from Judism, according to the New Testament. The Apostle Paul was a Jew and remained being a Jew after his conversion on the road to Damascus [see Acts 2].

In Romans 11, Paul further cements the fact that believers in Jesus Christ and faithful Jews are grafted into the same olive tree.

Messianic Jew Zola Levitt (1938-2006) explains the olive tree described in Romans 11 is neither the Church nor Israel, but what he describes as the Spiritual Commonwealth of Israel.

Zola Levitt

I pause to honor one of my wonderful Bible teachers. I listend to Zola Levitt on 1040 AM radio in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex after I was born again into the Kingdom of God in August 1974. The continuation of Zola Levitt Ministries in Dallas, Texas is a testimony to the grace of God on Zola’s ministry.

Rabbi Daniel Lapin

For your personal studies, I recommend Zola Levitt Ministries and Rabbi Daniel Lapin, the founder of the American Alliance of Jews and Christians. I listen to Rabbi Lapin’s podcast on The Blaze Network, Apple Podcast, and online via this link.

Both the Zola Levitt and Rabbi Daniel Lapin ministries feature up-to-date perspectives on the ongoing Middle East conflicts. I encourage the reader to explore these resources.

My prediction on the outcome of the present and future wars in the middle east. God wins, Satan loses.

Knowledge is Power. Ignorance is a Choice.
