Inflation affects everyone, all the people of the world. But we have absolutely no say-so in Great Britain or Venezuela. For now, we do have say-so in the United States of America.
What is a plague? The Biden Inflation Plague follows the dictionary definition of plague: any widespread affliction, calamity, or evil, esp. one regarded as a direct punishment by God.
The Biden Inflation Plague affects all Americans. Single moms, retirees on Social Security, young marrieds, widows, widowers, and unemployed workers are the most vulnerable victims of this plague.
Know Your Authority
Proverbs 29:2 says, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people mourn.”
The Biden Inflation Plague, as were all 10 plagues of Egypt, is a spiritual problem.
Ephesians 6:12 reveals, “For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
Believers in Jesus Christ are anointed by God with a special power and authority to counter evil. What does the Bible teach about the authority of the Believer? The following five verses are sufficient to convince a Believer of his or her spiritual authority. There are many more in the Bible.
- Matthew 16:15-19 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock [of revelation] I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
- Matthew 18:18-20 “Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are assembled in My name, there I am in their midst.”
- Luke 9:1 Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases.
- Luke 10:19 “Look, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. And nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
- James 4:7 “Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Preparation for Spiritual Warfare
Ephesians 6:11-17 Put on the whole armor of God … Take up the whole armor of God … Stand therefore, having your waist girded with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, having your feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace, and above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you will be able to extinguish all the fiery arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Action
Ephesians 6:18 Pray in the Spirit always with all kinds of prayer and supplication. To that end be alert with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
