‘Mad Dog’ Biden Successfully Alienates Another Ally

Historical Backdrop

In a November 2019 debate, candidate Joe Biden pledged to make Saudi Arabia a pariah in the Middle East. He declared, as president, he would not sell arms to Saudi Arabia.

The Big Guy said, “I would make it very clear we were not going to, in fact, sell more weapons to them.” He also stated in that debate there is “very little social redeeming value in the present government in Saudi Arabia,” and, in reference to Yemen, said he would “end the sale of material to the Saudis where they’re going in and murdering children.” Source: The Intercept 21 Nov 2019 For the record, Joe Biden’s position was contrary to Barack Obama, who approved the sale of weapons to the Saudis to battle terrorists in Yemen.

In February 2021, the Biden administration released an intelligence report on the 2018 killing of Jamal Khashoggi inside the Saudi embassy in Turkey.

Facts Matter – Whether you like them or not.

Fact No. 1 | Saudi Arabia is not a dictatorship. It is a monarchy that subscribes to the dictates of the Qur’an.

Fact No. 2 | An embassy, regardless of its location on the face of the globe, is legally ‘sovereign soil.’

Example: “For over 300 years, the grounds of any embassy or consulate have been the sovereign territory of a country that designated place is occupied by. Because of this, no local or national police or military force can enter a consulate or embassy of another country. By and large, most countries have respected this. This long tradition has been further enforced by the Vienna Convention that legally guarantees such protected sovereignty within the grounds of where an embassy or consulate is. Even governments that are not too good at keeping treaties or business agreements will think twice about violating the sovereignty of an embassy. We saw something of this when the blind Chinese lawyer Chen Guangcheng managed to escape his imprisonment and get into the U.S. embassy in Beijing. The Chinese authorities did not dare go any further than the gate of the U.S. embassy. Eventually, Chen and his family were allowed to leave China.” Source: Lawndale News

Example: “Diplomatic immunity is a principle of international law by which certain foreign government officials are not subject to the jurisdiction of local courts and other authorities for both their official and, to a large extent, their personal activities.” U.S. Department of State, page 10: What Is Diplomatic immunity?

Fact No. 3 | Saudi national Jamal Khashoggi was killed by Saudi officials inside the Saudi Embassy in the country of Turkey, an Islamic state. “The Koran (Qur’an) and the Sunna contain numerous references to the protection and immunity of diplomats … their staff, and accompanying persons …” Bassiouni, M. C. (1980). Protection of Diplomats Under Islamic Law. The American Journal of International Law, 74(3), 609-633. https://doi.org/2201651

Fact No. 4 | President Barack Obama respected the law. He was keenly aware of the law of the Qur’an. Obama sold arms to the Saudis for defense against their enemies in Yemen. Despite his Islamic training and his appreciation of all things Muslim, Obama never would have blundered as Joe Biden does.

Fact No. 5 | Joe Biden has probably irreversibly damaged our diplomatic relations with the Middle-Eastern countries, thereby endangering Israel.

In Summary

You may be familiar with An Elegy on the Death of a Mad Dog in which a man was portrayed as pious and good. The townsfolk were astonished when a dog went mad and bit the man. However, as the rhyme concludes:

But soon a wonder came to light,
That showed the rogues they lied;
The man recovered of the bite,
The dog it was that died.

Joe “Mad Dog” Biden spat into the wind, and it all came back to bite him and us.

Elections matter to your long-term well-being. Choose wisely, my friends, and pray for the Peace of Jerusalem.
