Good News: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton acted on a request by State Representative Matt Krause (R-Fort Worth). Paxton opined that existing family law makes gender modifications of minors unlawful.

Gov. Greg Abbott advised the Director of Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, “Texas law also imposes a duty on DFPS to investigate the parents of a child who is subjected to these abusive gender-transitioning procedures, and on other state agencies to investigate licensed facilities where such procedures may occur.” [Link t.ly/EHMv ]
