FFRF attorney Andrew L. Seidel, an avid atheist, fears the historical fact of the Christian foundation of America but is okay with Mickey Mouse, Superman, and Donald Duck. Mr. Seidel strives to silence mention of God in government settings but is okay with the Tooth Fairy against there seems no record of his opposition. Why?
The FFRF’s attack on Christianity is proof God exists and the foundation of America is Christian.
Atheist anti-God activists cite a statement of Thomas Jefferson as a point of law to exclude Judeo-Christian expression in governmental settings. The myth of the “wall of separation” as a constitutional principle is not in the constitution or any of our founding documents. It was a pledge by Jefferson to prevent any one Christian denomination from becoming an official religion.
The nature of all mankind is to believe in something, with respect to our origins. Atheism is, by definition, a cult and idolatry. How is it a cult? It is a cult because atheists venerate a God-less government. Atheists do not strive to disprove popular myths like the tooth fairy. Instead, atheists promote a mythical wall of separation between church and state.
The Biblical term for the atheists’ myth is idolatry.
The first two of the Ten Commandments in the New International Version of the Bible:
#1 — You shall have no other gods before me.
#2 — “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
I thank God the atheists are close to being on the right track toward eternal life in Heaven by acknowledging God.
