In 1972, while aboard USS Constellation, an eatmospheric issue directed my attention to temperature changes aloft. Research lacking, I utilized my company’s library and thinking to understand equatorial atmospheric behavior. Further study led to a theory of Antarctic ozone depletion due to subsea volcanoes. This theory was affirmed by an article in 2015.
