Bo French has a superior grassroots (republicanism) record over Jim Wright. Bo is an outspoken opponent of the Islamization of Texas. Bo’s post on X was misunderstood. He has always supported Israel. Even Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick misunderstood Bo French’s post on X.
Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 3
I chose Thomas Smith for this position. Both candidates have valuable experience and the requisite education. Thomas Smith has far superior leadership experience. Thomas worked directly with Ken Paxton as Counsel and Policy Analyst. Around 200 prosecuting attorneys serve the Texas AG. Smith’s position was second only to the Attorney General.

Mayes Middleton is the superior choice for conservative Republicans.

(April 26, 2026) “state Sen. Mayes Middleton from Galveston and U.S. Rep. Chip Roy from Austin will face off again during the May 26 primary runoffs. The winner will take on the Democratic nominee in November and look to continue the GOP’s three-decade winning streak in Texas statewide elections….Middleton has pitched himself as a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump compared to Roy, who voted to certify the 2020 election results affirming Joe Biden’s win, an affront to MAGA faithful.”
The telling difference between these two candidates is worldview. I suggest Chip Roy’s worldview is consistent with the general Austin worldview on culture.
I quote from LGBTQ Nation (December 17, 2025) “Greene wrote on X that Roy introduced an amendment to her bill that would only ban gender-affirming care at “facilities that receive federal funding” and not all facilities. She then said that Roy was trying to protect California’s pro-trans policies, a searing insult in MAGA circles since California and Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) are often held up as a bogeyman when it comes to trans rights issues.
“In other words, Chip Roy is trying to change my bill in such a way that his amendment would actually protect Gavin Newsom’s California trans child sanctuary state policies and laws!!!” Greene wrote. “Any privately funded pediatric gender clinic would continue to operate free and clear under Chip Roy’s amendment!!!”
