HEADLINE: Controversial Sustains Act Ignites Fierce Battle Over Federal Power https://shorturl.at/KKQmV
Few know the U.S. Constitution. You pledge allegiance to it. You sing about it from “sea to shining sea.” Do you read it? Study it?
Ignorance of the Constitution is a prescription for tyranny.
What is the difference between a Democracy and a Republic?
•A Democracy is the rule of man.
•A Republic is the rule of law.
The Federal government has limited enumerated powers. 17, to be precise, as per Article 1, Section 8.
The Sovereign States have wide-ranging powers, with few Constitutional limitations, per the Tenth Amendment.
The ever-growing unconstitutional overreach by unelected bureaucrats and by Acts of Congress, laws unqualified by the Supremacy Clause in Article 6, the second clause:
“This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.”

Of all the elected officeholders, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is our “firewall” against federal government overreach. Contact him, also. Ask him to fight the “the Sustainability Targets in Agriculture to Incentivize Natural Solutions Act.” Contact our AG via this link https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/contact-us-online-form
