John Adams famously said Americans divided into three equal groups: the staunch Patriots, the Loyalists, and those remaining neutral. Yet a better estimate would put Loyalists at about 20 percent of the population. These were the colonists who were ultimately willing to fight for the Loyalist cause, or at least to publicly express their loyalism even when it was not popular. Perhaps another 30 percent to 40 percent of the population were Patriots who visibly supported the Revolution in some way. Others were determined to remain neutral, even as that became harder in the midst of a civil war.

Is 25% a reasonable patriot population to form a tipping point? Let’s do the math:
20% + 30% = 50%
50% ÷ 2 = 25%
Yes, a 25% minority of activists can override the will of the complacent majority. A highly motivated body of patriots led the 13 colonies in revolt against Great Britain. Three activist groups came together to “tip” the balance of power in favor of the revolution. This is a good instance of a societal tipping point.
Vladimir Lenin’s Bolshevik (majority) party represented only 24% of the Russian population.
In the 2024 Primary Elections in Rockwall County, Texas, the record turnout of Republican voters [27%] won the day. Two conservative candidates received 61.34% of the total votes cast for this office.

God-fearing, Bible-believing, conservative Republicans do not need 51% of the vote to defeat the pro-abortion, atheistic, LGBTQ++, NEOCON minority activists.
