The Primary elections will open in three months. Are you ready? Am I ready?

Our form of government is the republican form. The word republic is from the Latin phrase res publica, the people’s thing.

The Bible teaches us to know each candidate’s character for whom we vote. Above all, the Bible teaches us to understand our own character.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is complete.“— 2 Corinthians 10:4-6

The key phrase: bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ

We cannot correct the disobedience of others if we are disobedient to Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches us to know our own character.

Following Luke 6:42, I invite you, and I ask myself, to acknowledge our shortcomings and to confess our sins to the Lord.

Knowledge is power.

Our Republican clubs do not exist to promote candidates. They exist to inform voters.

What do the candidates believe? What do they know? What is their experience? What are their personal objectives? Does the candidate attend Republican club meetings to be informed?

If we want good results, we must follow the Bible: confess our sins, ask for wisdom, know the candidates, register to vote, and VOTE.
