Exposing Fears
The term ‘reality check‘ came into use in the 1960s. An online dictionary defines this term:
1. a corrective confronting of reality in order to counteract one’s expectations, prejudices, or the like.
2. an occasion or opportunity to consider a matter realistically or honestly
A natural response to fear is to run away from the fear stimulus. But running away, “hiding your head in the sand,” does not solve the problem facing you. Rockwall Controls Company is looking to good science, factual history, and old-fashioned open-market principles to allay fears of the future.
Economic Concerns
Finance is the platform upon which all human institutions are built. Manufacturing is the only source of wealth. You can earn wealth by shipping, warehousing, selling, and servicing ‘it,’ but if there is no production of ‘it,’ your community will not prosper.
Unfortunately, federal unconstitutional regulations and high corporate taxes have driven industries to China, South Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, and other countries that are industry-friendly. The world’s industrialists are in the process of abandoning China for more friendly countries. If former President Donald Trump wins the 2024 presidential election, he will again draw industries back to America. If is a big word.
Electrical Shortage
On June 12, 2024, Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick reported that our ERCOT power grid needs would grow from 85,000 megaWatts to 150,000 megaWatts, almost twice the grid’s present maximum capability. He also notes that crypto miners and data miners will be consuming 50% of the total. Wind and solar power contribute significantly now, but these resources are intermittent.
Food Shortage
Attacks by the government on agricultural enterprises threaten food supplies, along with ever-growing fuel prices that dramatically increase food transportation costs. Are you aware of all the huge warehouses under construction throughout Texas? Big thinkers and realistic thinkers are preparing for the future.
Water Shortage
Agriculture Secretary Sid Miller once said Texas is a state of 30 million people and enough water for 28 million. The Texas population at the end of 2023 was 30,976,754. Water shortage is a real problem and the Texas Water Development Board is working on the problem. Rockwall Controls Company, Inc. has immediate solutions. There is ongoing research to make potable water abundant and economical.
Fear of WW3
