Constitutional Minute—Birthright Citizenship

On the topic of Birthright Citizenship, there is GOOD NEWS and there is BAD NEWS.

FIRST, THE BAD NEWS: “BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP IS DEAD”

The Bad News is that birthright citizenship is claimed to be dead. This claim is a product of widespread illiteracy among the people of the United States of America.

SECOND, THE GOOD NEWS: Birthright citizenship is not dead

100% of my children, 100% of my grandchildren, and 100% of my GREAT grandchildren became U.S. citizens at the moment of their births. How is this possible?

My wife and I were born to parents who were born in the United States. They were under the jurisdiction of the laws of the United States of America. Likewise, all our children, grandchildren, and our great-granddaughter.

My Grandparents, my parents, and likewise my wife were all born “in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof”.

I am a citizen by birthright, as per the 14th Amendment.

Illegal aliens buy homes, drive cars, shop in our markets, etc. But their children born in our country are not U.S. citizens.

Why?

Illegal aliens are persons not lawfully living in our country.
